Blueberry Breakfast Bars

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 (21 ounce) can blueberry pie filling
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions
- 1 Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and vanilla.
- 2 Beat well.
- 3 Add flour and baking powder.
- 4 Stir until blended.
- 5 Spread half of the mixture onto an ungreased 15x10 baking pan.
- 6 Carefully top with pie filling.
- 7 Drop remaining dough on top by teaspoonfuls.
- 8 Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- 9 Do not underbake.
- 10 Combine powdered sugar, melted butter and lemon juice and drizzle over warm bars.
