Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 21 ounces chicken broth (2 cans)
  • 1 lb canned pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

  • 1 Saute onion in butter.
  • 2 Add curry powder and flour. Cook until bubbly.
  • 3 Add other ingredients. Simmer.
  • 4 Garnish with Chives or parsley.
