Banana Bread Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/8 teaspoon table salt
- 3/4 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
- 1 small banana, mashed
- 2 packets Splenda sugar substitute
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar-free maple syrup
Directions
- 1 Bring water and salt to a rapid boil in a sauce pan.
- 2 Add oatmeal and bring back to a boil.
- 3 Add banana, spice, Splenda.
- 4 Turn down to medium and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
- 5 Remove pan from heat, stir in maple syrup, cover and let sit about 3 minutes.
- 6 Serve in a bowl with milk (if desired).
