Ingredients

  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Directions

  • 1 Combine first 7 ingredients in large bowl.
  • 2 Add ground lamb and mix well.
  • 3 Divide into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into 1/2 inch thick patty.
  • 4 Heat skillet on medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil.
  • 5 Add patties and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side until no longer pink inside.
